Some places are never forgotten. The French Riviera is one of them. 

Cannes, the Esterel hills, the pine trees, the golden light, the sea breeze… this is where Amélie grew up.

An artist at heart and born on these shores, she now creates Mancera’s fragrances alongside her father, Pierre Montale.

Years later, during a peaceful morning run along those familiar paths, something stirred within her.

The sun, the scent of the pine trees, the salty breeze… it all came flooding back.

A spark, a wave of emotion.

Back in the laboratory, she shared this vision with Pierre.

Together they imagined a fragrance: sunny, elegant, universal.

That moment gave rise to French Riviera, a radiant creation that soon became one of the Maison’s favourites.

But the story didn’t end there. When Mancera opened its first Montale & Mancera boutique in Cannes, the idea of a deeper, more textured version became inevitable.

Pierre and Amélie returned to the essence.

He added contrast, intensity and, of course, his famous pinch of salt.

Amélie, a lover of unisex fragrances who often wears those created for men, brought her own sensibility to the mix, taking the dream of the Riviera into new territory.

The result is Intense French Riviera.

Wilder, saltier, irresistibly addictive.

A sea breeze sculpted with brighter citrus notes, more vetiver, a delicate whisper of oud and the scent of pine trees.
