Unspoken Musk Extrait de Parfum

The outcome of this venture will undoubtedly be fleeting, as my views and ideas on certain raw materials are varied and change over time.

These interpretations should certainly not be regarded as a realistic reconstruction, but rather as the result of a transient artistic vision.

Among the myriad of possible meanings, with Unspoken Musk I wanted to define what Musk evokes in me.

I did not seek a realistic interpretation of natural musk, which is where the inspiration comes from.

Furthermore, whilst natural musks cannot be used in perfumery, the varieties of synthetic musks span the most diverse olfactory categories.

From ‘clean’ musks in the ‘laundry-fresh’ sense (which do not spark my artistic imagination, however pleasant they may be in their purely functional use) to the ‘dirty’ ones that reach some interesting interpretative extremes, these two ends define a very broad spectrum. A ‘musk map’, where anything is possible.

Unspoken Musk is the fruit of my imagination: although undoubtedly inspired by natural musk, it is enriched by the layering of memories, suggestions and interpretations of this mythical ingredient, which has intoxicated humankind for centuries.

And as I developed this fantasy, its symbolic character grew stronger in my mind: Humanity, sweetness, intensity, passion.
