Byzantine Amber Extrait de Parfum
Francesca Bianchi
Whilst working on Angel’s Dust, I was exploring a feminine touch that was innocent and light as a feather, yet at the same time daring and decadent.
The vintage, old-fashioned touch was not intentional but a necessary consequence of my idea of a femininity from times gone by, where women had a wooden dressing table and spent hours applying powders and other beauty secrets to their faces and bodies, and did not worry about asserting themselves through a career, but would exercise their power through Beauty.
I then softened the powdery-iris-pink aspect by adding a blend of resins.
