To create a fragrance as unique as TriBeCa, Bond turned to Michel Almairac, the legendary nose behind several of the house's most successful fragrances, including Lafayette Street, Madison Avenue, and Gold Coast. The style is sexy, unisex, floriental, sophisticated, and youthful, just like the inhabitants of TriBeCa,” explains Rahmé.

The top notes have an irresistible gourmand appeal based on cocoa and hazelnut—fresh and modern green, somewhat reminiscent of the area's many gourmet coffees—centered on luxurious jasmine sambac from the South of France, another nod to the overall composition of the area, combined with a touch of cedarwood.

“It's not quiet and has a lot of character,” notes Rahmé. Ambroxan, moss, and creamy caramel round out the base notes, creating a scent that lives and breathes on the skin in warm, earthy tones.

THE INSPIRATION

TriBeCa is home to celebrities and families alike, and numerous galleries are migrating to its streets in a return to the area's artistic roots in the 1970s. “TriBeCa is heralding itself as New York's next great creative neighborhood.” That's what we're interested in capturing," says Bond No. 9 founder and president Laurice Rahmé. "It's undergoing a true revolution."
