The Rosa Moceniga perfume is inspired by the ‘Muda di Tana e di Romania’ region of the Chinese Empire; the bottle is shaped like a Chinese rose and takes its name from an ancient Venetian family – the Mocenigo family, who still own a historic residence in Alvisopoli featuring an exquisite garden of Mocenigo roses, the favourites of Joséphine Bonaparte.
It is a fragrance steeped in history, composed of ingredients such as lotus flower, blackcurrant and, of course, the cornerstone of the fragrance, the Moceniga rose, resulting in an unmistakable fruity floral scent.
El Mercader de Venecia draws its conceptual inspiration from Venice and its history, and from the city’s enduring role as a centre of the perfumery tradition across the globe.
